Origin of the name

Attracting enthusiasts and professionals from the cultural and creative sectors on a continuous and permanent basis through a regeneration program based on art and creativity, making the historic piedmont villages of the Municipality of Sarmede more accessible, functional, beautiful, and, therefore, more attractive.
 
This, in short, is the goal of the project "REVIVAL - Regenerate, Excite, Live, and Innovate in Val," funded through Next Generation EU, PNRR Call M1C3, Intervention 2.1 – Attractiveness of Historic Villages.

A far-sighted
project

The REVIVAL project is highly ambitious: it doesn’t just enhance existing cultural activities, but also aims to foster the presence in the Sarmede area of ​​creative professionals, visitors committed to sustainable tourism, digital nomads, and, why not, new residents, creating the ideal conditions for their settlement, with a particular focus on new business creation. Launched in 2022, the project will conclude in June 2026.

In addition to the Zavrel Foundation and the Sarmede Pro Loco, long-time partners and promoters of the cultural life of the Municipality of Sarmede, the REVIVAL project can count on the support of other esteemed entities, such as the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists and the relevant Order of Treviso, the La Porta ONLUS Association, the Ca’ Foscari University Foundation of Venice, as well as the creative support of internationally renowned artists and illustrators, supported by colleagues working in the local area.
